How we work
What makes us different
Safety Centred
Safety is the foremost priority at Pentalec. Our goal is to ensure that all operatives and project stakeholders are guaranteed the highest levels of safety when undertaking a project, ensuring that every person returns home safely at the end of each day. We regard safety as a collective and individual responsibility, working in partnership with our customers and site teams to comply with safety standards, our customer’s safety requirements, our own benchmark for safety, SSIPs, and ISO 45001 requirements.
Fit-for-purpose solution
Our Design and Build practices are centred on delivering fit-for-purpose solutions that meet performance specifications without over-engineering. Our pre-construction teams and operational leadership look to provide alternative proposals, wherever possible, that offer improved lead times and value for money for customers. Our commitment to this strategic approach is demonstrated across all Pentalec projects, serving as the cornerstone of our key operating principle: Engineering Through Innovation.
Partnering Ethos
Our reputation as a ‘partnering contractor’ is maintained by the commitment to collaboration that is upheld by our teams on every site. We have identified the value of cohesive working with stakeholders throughout all stages of operations. We promote a ‘teamworking approach’ with client teams, consultants, and fellow service partners through continued engagement and unwavering approachability. This approach is what we believe enables us to achieve such a high repeat business rate, and become ‘contractor of choice’ for the services we offer.
Non-contractual approach
Pentalec’s commercial philosophy is driven by flexibility and open communication. We endeavour to avoid contractual arguments or commercial disagreements, opting to acknowledge changing requirements and adapting our proposals to meet them. We have maintained trusted working relationships with our customers and end-users through this approach, ensuring a mutually agreed outcome for each project.
Positive attitude
We continue to deliver our services with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Our leadership teams invest time and effort into cultivating and maintaining a healthy and supportive workplace culture that empowers our people to stand out amongst our industry peers. Our goal is to establish Pentalec as a unique contractor, building long-lasting professional and personal relationships founded upon trust, quality, and exceptional service.
